The Foot Foundation was founded by Eric Ward (see bio) in the 1990's. His education, experience and continued research into how balance affects performance in sports led to the development of the patented Shim Balance System (SBS).

With the Shim Balance System, an athlete's footbed is measured and optimized by adding a custom-angled shim. This instantly improves balance and performance in the sport.

OUR FUTURE

The Foot Foundation is looking to sell the Foot First Aid idea and system to Ski Areas all around the country and abroad.

There has been lots of interest in Europe- expansion in Europe is imminent We are actually testing the product in many different markets with lots of success- golf, biking, snowboarding, skating ( ice-rollerblades, ice hockey).
